There are short stories and novels. Short stories generally last few pages. Novels last a couple of 100 pages. There is a reason why short stories are small. They have a core message that can be communicated best through few sharp phrases.
The Dilemma is what you get when someone decides to take a short story and decides to make it into a novel as long as Atlas Shrugged.
As a result, the core Dilemma that the viewer feels is whether to run out or walk out from the movie 15 minutes into it. Was it a symbolic gesture to keep it 2 minutes short of 2 hours?
